Meet The Artist

Marilena Christodoulou is a visual artist who explores the raw and intimate presence of the human body. Her work focuses on the nude as a vessel for emotion, desire, vulnerability, and the hidden tensions of human experience.

Many of her paintings originate from vivid visions or dreams. Sometimes a fragment of a body appears first, often already coloured while at other times the entire composition reveals itself suddenly. These inner images remain with her until they are translated onto the canvas. Each collection grows from this process of bringing those visions into physical form.

Through expressive color, Marilena transforms these internal images into works that invite the viewer into a deeper emotional and psychological connection with the human figure
